We hope you’ve read about Dr. Blanca Fernandez and our team at Highland Dental Clinic. Our patients come from many communities in Polk County, including Highland City, Lakeland, Winston, Crystal Lake, Medulla, Kathleen, Fussels Corner, Winter Haven, Auburndale, Lake Wales, Plant City, Bartow, Mulberry, Bradley Junction, Lake Alfred, and Haines City. We hope you’ll join our patient family!
Your First Visit
We do everything we can to ensure you and your family have a great first visit with us! Our friendly team will make sure you feel welcome when you’re here. We speak English and Spanish in our office.
First-time patients get a comprehensive exam with our hygienists and Dr. Blanca Fernandez. This includes a full set of digital X-rays. We may also use panoramic or full-mouth images of your teeth and gums. We look at each and every tooth (and so can you on our monitor!) with an intraoral camera. It’s no bigger than a pen and gives us amazing detail!
After we take your X-rays, Dr. Fernandez will review them and then come in to talk with you and let you know any problems we may have seen in your images. She’ll ask you about your dental and medical history and about your goals for your dental health. Then she’ll examine your teeth and gums and discuss any needed treatment. We’ll then clean and polish your teeth and apply a fluoride treatment if you need it.

Financing and Payment Options
We accept PPO insurance plans, cash, and all major credit cards. We also work with third-party lenders, such as Lending Club and CareCredit. Talk to us, and we can explain all of our payment options.
