What are the five steps to a complete smile makeover?
- Consultation and candidacy. First, Dr. Blanca Fernandez and her team at Highland Dental Clinic will provide a consultation appointment to discuss your goals for a smile makeover and determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure. This step is crucial because it allows us to assess your oral health, understand your needs and expectations, and create a personalized treatment plan for you.
- Planning and design. Once you have been deemed suitable for the smile makeover, our team works closely with you to design your dream smile. Your input is crucial in this step, as we will consider factors, including the shape of your face, the color of your teeth, and any other concerns or desires you may have. Using advanced technology, such as digital imaging and mock-ups, we can show you what your new smile could look like before any procedures are even performed.
- Preparatory procedures. Depending on your case, some preparatory procedures may be necessary before moving forward with the smile makeover. These can include teeth whitening, orthodontic treatment, gum contouring, or any other treatments that will help achieve the desired results.
- Main procedures. This step involves the actual cosmetic dental procedures that will transform your smile. Due to advanced decay at cervical level, gingival tissue was treated and stabilized, then diode laser therapy was done to reposition gingival tissues and have a sound enamel to proceed. Root Canal Therapy was necessary on anterior front teeth. Post and buildups were done, and 6 anterior ceramic crowns were done.
